Dear Terry
Re: Paradise Wharf Manchester - 22nd March 2002
We are writing to thank you in relation to the above project and the
excellent sand blasting works that your company undertook for us in
the Junction Works building.
We are extremely pleased with how the building now looks and your operatives
conducted themselves and the works in a courteous and professional manner.
We obviously look forward to undertaking future schemes in conjunction
with
yourselves, however, in the meantime should you require any references
from
Watkin Jones Homes, please do not hesitate to list the address given
at the top of this letter along with my name.
Yours Sincerely
For Watkin Jones Homes

REGIONAL MANAGER
Mr
Brewer carried out extensive cleaning work under my direction in Saint
Mary's
Church, Beddgelert, in autumn 2000 as part of a larger contract financed
in part by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
The work consisted of:-
o Protecting windows, timber screens and other fixed woodwork
o Removing vinyl emulsion paint from plastered walls with mixed backgrounds
o Removing oil-bound paint and undercoat from 19th century sandstone
window
surrounds
o Removing oil-bound paint, undercoat and filler from 12th century gritstone
nave
arcade
None of the backgrounds was fragile or friable. There were no historic
decorative
schemes requiring protection.
The work was carried out promptly, efficiently and with good will when
variations were required. He cooperated well with the main contractor.
He returned to site promptly to clean small areas overlooked before
thorough cleaning was carried out. Mr Brewer's paperwork was clear and
adequate. He provided an acceptable Plan under the CDM Regulations.
